From Humble Beginnings…
Northern Cascade Supplies began in 2010 from a passion that Paul Rubel had for water features, landscaping and owning his own business. He started his career in 1996 when he got his first experience working for a landscaping company and that lasted for several years. That experience led Paul to becoming a warehouse manager for a large Aquascape distributor who had three locations in two states, and he was solely in charge of one of them. After serving in that position for 5 yrs. he moved on to a position with a much larger company who had 19 locations and he served there for 2 years.
During those years Paul managed inventories, deliveries, technical support, specifications and occasionally went out into the field to help a contractor to either get started in the business, or to help with a technical challenge.
Changing Times Present Opportunities…
Paul was presented with the opportunity that he had dreamed of, having his very own “wholesale” supply business. In March of 2010 Paul opened Northern Cascade Supplies. As a first year businesses, Northern Cascade did very well. We became a destination for many of the landscape contractors in the Pittsburgh and Tri-State area. We even started shipping products all over the country simply because people loved our quick and efficient service.
In 2011 we moved into a brand NEW building that fit our needs much better and is allowing us to fulfill our contractors needs more efficiently. We are looking forward to a prosperous year in 2012 as we work diligently to supply our customers with products and the knowledge to properly install them.
Paul’s 23 years of experience in the industry gives him the knowledge and confidence to help a contractor with any size project that he might come upon. He really enjoys this industry and the people who are in it, and is looking forward to getting to know you too!
